Family Birthing Center: Antepartum, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery, Nursery, Level 2 Nursery, C-Section Scrub, Circulate & Recovery

Casual (PRN) Status

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive education to patients and families, supporting them through care transitions.

• Support the growth of students, new staff, and colleagues, potentially serving as a preceptor.

• Collaborate actively as a care team member, offering assistance and partnership when needed.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships, demonstrating accountability, motivation, and cultural awareness.

• Apply the nursing process and critical thinking to create holistic, patient-centered care plans.

• Communicate effectively with peers and care providers, ensuring comprehensive patient documentation.

• Participate in quality improvement efforts and take responsibility for enhancing patient satisfaction.

• Utilize research and evidence-based practices to improve clinical care and identify opportunities for quality improvement

• Prior OB experience strongly preferred

• Ability to assess patient needs, interpret relevant data, and provide appropriate care as per department policies.

• Strong relationship-building skills with executives, managers, physicians, staff, and patients/families.

• Ability to work effectively in a complex environment, manage changing priorities, and use specialized equipment.

Requirements:

RN License

Act 33, 24 & 73

CPR Certification
