We’re looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead BI projects and deliver insights that drive business growth. On a Fixed Term contract basis to provide maternity cover.

This role is based in Glasgow

About the role:

As the Commercial Insights BI Manager, you will focus on providing leadership and direction to our commercial business intelligence and data analytics efforts. Key to success will be setting out a clear strategy to enable the planning, building and implementation of business intelligence solutions that address and support key business priorities, whilst also building the capability of the team, and exploiting new technologies and data sources as they become available.

What you’ll do:

• Understand the priorities and challenges, and how BI solutions can support effective decision making to enhance Aggreko’s performance.

• Prioritise and lead BI projects, with a focus on planning, delivery and results in a timely manner, whilst being responsive to stakeholder needs.

• Use the Aggreko BI platform and other available tools to develop effective reporting to meet the business requirements as they evolve.

• Own the performance and maintenance of the current suite of Commercial based reports, fixing bugs which may occur and ensuring good performance and high-quality output is maintained.

• Be responsible for ensuring the data, models, plans and results are documented in a proportionate way to business requirements.

• Be responsible for maintaining best-practice standards in coding, reporting and communication

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Successful track record of delivering data solutions with exposure to enterprise level BI and cloud environments.

• Experience leading delivery teams.

• Experience of business analysis and project management techniques.

• Experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.

• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong delivery capability – able to get things done and perform in fast paced environment.

• Sound technical understanding and judgement.

• Able to manage and develop people and hold them to account.

• Commercially astute.
