The Technical Senior Lead Project and Program Manager is responsible for the strategic execution of highest complexity technical projects and programs in the organization often spanning multiple business units. The role is responsible for managing the delivery of various technical projects and programs for assigned technical areas. The role works with internal teams to define the technical project scope, schedule, budget, and resources as well as identify the knowledge and skills required for team composition and the appropriate division of project roles and responsibilities on the project. This role is also considered an expert technical project and program management practitioner and is responsible for sharing expertise across the organization. Takes the responsibility for managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the highest complexity technical projects and programs in the organization often spanning multiple business units. Defines the technical project scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Creates and manages technical project management artifacts adhering to company's methodology to successfully deliver the project. Identifies and defines the technical knowledge and skills required on the team and the appropriate division of team roles and responsibilities. Provides technical expertise and leadership to project teams. Guides and mentors team members, offering technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Provide technical direction and guidance on complex technical aspects of projects and programs. Stays updated on emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluates their applicability to projects and programs. Manages relationships, communications, and expectations with the project executive, steering committee and/or other stakeholders. Develops and distributes regular project communications and statuses. Monitors all project aspects on an ongoing basis against the plan, requirements, and quality measures. Manages the work distribution, scope, timetables and priorities of the work effort required to complete a project. Guides and coaches project team members in the identification, development, and completion of project deliverables. Establishes and enforces technical quality standards and best practices across projects and programs. Conducts regular reviews and audits to ensure deliverables meet defined technical requirements. Implements quality control measures to deliver high-quality results. Identifies, assesses, and manages technical project risks and issues. Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Communicates risks and issues to stakeholders on a regular basis and implements appropriate actions to minimize their impact. Works to remove barriers and helps to facilitate the change process associated with a technical project and program. Acts as the link between project resources and key stakeholders/sponsors. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resource availability and timely completion of project tasks. Assists in the selection and management of vendors and contractors, as required. For field roles only: Travels as often as needed including regular utilization of assigned fleet vehicle in order to cover assigned territory. This may involve traveling on short notice or other daily driving duties as assigned. 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or any relevant field and/or commensurate experience.
