DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for tower crane applications.  This includes running site-specific reactions per ASCE 7, due to local wind and seismic requirements.  Also responsible for climb schedules, mast sway, and repair procedures.  Must assist sales team with mast configurations.  Also responsible for NYC crane certification process and creating DOB supplements for new projects under any model certified.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Responsible for project oversight and coordination of resources. * Leads cross-functional team to create project requirements and specifications. * Administers the personnel functions of the engineering department, including the coordination of recruiting with the personnel department, the review and approval of job descriptions and salary classifications, and selection and placement of personnel. * Plans and establishes project schedules and follows up on actual performance against estimates. * Supervises the assembly of project and product cost and related statistical data. * Prepares and delivers presentations of project status and gate deliverables to senior management. * Approves process specifications and design standards. * Performs office management functions of engineering department. * Assists in preparing, administering, and controlling departmental annual budget. * Prepares, supervises the preparation of specifications, materials lists, cost estimates and proposals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS * Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering with five (5) to eight (8) years' experience, as well as five (5) years of field experience.  * Must have project management experience. * Resource management/supervision is a plus. * Must have strong communication skills. * Must have AutoCAD experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Must be able to work with customers via E-Mail, phone, or face to face.  * Must be able to communicate technical issues to senior management. * Travel required up to 15%.

Grade 208 Minimum: $89,754.08 Midpoint: $114,436.40 Maximum: $139,118.72
