The Educational and Mental Health (TEAM) Alliance Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight of TEAM Program. The TEAM Alliance Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to the TEAM staff.  In conjunction with the Director of TEAM, the TEAM Alliance Clinical Supervisor works to promote the development of the program. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to TEAM Alliance staff including but not limited to hiring, supervision, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions and termination of employees.

  • Supervise and assure the maintenance of adequate and timely client records, reports and billing.

  • Assure that standards/regulations set by accrediting and/or licensing bodies are maintained by TEAM Alliance staff.

  • Conduct or coordinate staff training that will provide the skills necessary to implement the TEAM Alliance program.

  • Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned staff and group supervision as needed.

  • Either through personal participation or by delegating to appropriate staff, provide consultation and input on intake decisions as requested.

  • Represent the agency in the development or maintenance of relationships with other organizations including schools and other referral sources.

  • Assure that TEAM Alliance staff participates in agency research projects to evaluate the program’s effectiveness.

  • Assure that TEAM Alliance staff maintains high standards of ethical and professional conduct.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

  • Coordinate, assure, and provide quality clinical care for TEAM Alliance clients for 10 weeks in the summer.

  • Maintain a caseload of clients that are deemed to need clinical support while assigned staff is not working. This 10 week summer role includes a productivity expectation for a portion of the time. This productivity expectation will be balanced with the number of FTE staff under the TEAM Alliance Clinical Supervisor that continue to see clients during the summer.    

OTHER DUTIES:

 

  • Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.

  • All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

  • Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment.  All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.

  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Education:    Minimum Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling

  • Licensure:     Minimum Valid Ohio LPCC-S required

  • Skills:             

  •  Strong clinical skills including expertise school based counseling, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions.

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

  • Core Expertise: Possesses skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role; keeps knowledge up to date.

  • Cultural Competency: Demonstrates awareness, sensitivity and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups and communities who represent various cultural and personal background and characteristics.

  • Interpersonal Communication: Communicates clearly using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context; demonstrates clear understanding and use of professional language.

  • Professional & Ethical Conduct: Adheres to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability; applies ethical concepts within scope of work and adheres to Agency policies and procedures.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Functions effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees, clients and family members.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Recognizes problems and responds appropriately; gathers information

  • Experience: Experience in both clinical and administrative supervision. 

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in school based services.

  • Experience working with children, adolescents and their families.

  • Other:               

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company.  

  • Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle.
