COLSA Corporation Acquisition Program Logistician (Sr) in Shalimar, Florida

General Summary:

Performs complex logistics support on policies and procedures to systems and subsystems, equipment procurement activities, project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

The Contractor shall:

· Apply knowledge and experience in managing, developing and implementing lifecycle and logistics acquisition product support strategies associated with Armament Systems and associated support equipment in support of the Product Support Manager (PSM).

· This requires knowledge and experience in determining, through a considered analysis, the best blend of public and private resources and the partnering relationship between those entities to achieve an effective product support strategy that delivers warfighter operational readiness.

· Develop logistics planning documents to include, but not limited to LCSPs, weapon system delivery and deployment plans (integrated and optimized across DSM production and delivery schedules and SPM/depot induction/modification plans and schedules), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), product support business case analyses, Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)/Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) packages, and diminishing manufacturing sources plans, including research and identification of alternative components where required.

· Perform supportability analyses; determine manpower requirements; evaluate human/system interfaces; influence system design to optimize life cycle sustainment strategy; determine supply support; interpret facility requirements; determine packaging requirements to meet transportation/handling demands; identify peculiar and common support equipment needs; evaluate technical data acquisition strategy to support lifecycle sustainment needs and; provide FMS case management support.

· Identifying, planning for, resourcing, and implementing management actions to acquire repair parts, spares, and all classes of supply.

· Assist with development of and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program;

· Assist with identification of requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place;

· Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time;

· Integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program;

· Provide expert logistics input on Request for Proposals (RFPs), SOWs, PWSs and CDRLs, and;

· Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (including but not limited to supply, reliability, maintainability, and reliability) and provide them to key logistics reviews.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

One of the following combinations of education/experience:

+ + Bachelor’s in a related field and at least 15 years of relevant experience

  • Master’s degree in related field and 12+ years of relevant experience

  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheets.

  • U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret Clearance required.
