Reference #: 5001054454806 Merakey is seeking an Employment Specialist to work within our Adult Behavioral Health program in Delaware County, PA.  Earn $18.53 per hour with benefits   Duties:  *  Provides vocational education, assessment, support, liaison services for adults with serious mental illness to place and maintain these individuals in competitive employment in the community.   *  Maintains thorough knowledge of Individual Placement and Support model/SAMHSA Supported Employment EBP toolkit model and ability to implement IPS with fidelity to the model,  *  Conducts initial vocational assessments per the IPS model,  *  With the consumer taking the lead as much as possible and based on the consumer's preferences, strengths, and needs, assists the consumer in a job search, in job interviewing, and obtaining a paid job,  *  Provides ongoing supports, job coaching wherever needed-on the job site or at other meeting places in the community,  *  Provides evening or weekend direct consumer contact, as needed, to support consumers in their work positions,  *  Maintains good working knowledge of how employment may affect benefits that the consumer is currently receiving and provides consumers with that information so that they can decide how much they want to work and how to maintain needed benefits.  *  Acts as liaison between the supported employment program and other programs within and without Merakey.  *  Maintains open and continuous communication between the supported employment and clinical staff,  *  Leads job development effort with employers in the community,  *  Establishes broad range of contacts with employers in the community,  *  Provides support to employers around maintaining a supported employment position,   *  Provides educational groups to consumers and staff describing the process and goals of supported employment,  *  Documents services rendered consistent with agency and funder guidelines,  *  Enters supported employment data per program requirements.  *  Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.   *  Other duties as required.   Benefits  Merakey offers medical, dental - vision insurance plans, competitive compensation plans and more!  *  DailyPay enrollment option *  Work/Life Balance  *  Flexible Schedules  *  Cell Phone Discount Plans  *  Employee Referral Bonuses  *  Tuition Reimbursement  *  Care.com Membership   About Merakey  Merakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services.
