Patrol Officers respond directly to the publics calls for service and are directly responsible for the protection of life and property, prevention of criminal activity, preliminary investigation of offenses reported by the public, apprehension of criminal offenders, investigation of traffic accidents, enforcement of Pennsylvania vehicular and criminal statutes and continuous preventative patrols within the community. Must be a Police Academy Graduate.

Requirements:  PA Act 120 (priot to appointment) Pass a written exam Be a U.S. citizen Have good moral character as determined by background check, psychological testing, and other reviews Possess a current and valid driver's license Be free from convictions of disqualifying criminal offenses
