Teksouth is seeking a Financial Services Expert to support our client in key military, civilian, and travel pay areas at Shaw AFB. This role will be onsite. You will be required to utilize various systems for processing and research.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal controls within the various processes to ensure audit readiness.

• Post United States Savings Deposit Program transactions for active, guard, and reserve personnel.

• Analyze and post partial/casual payments to active duty and guard personnel pay records; validate input accuracy.

• Perform research, audit, and input of routine and complex adjustments to military pay records based on standardized rules and regulations; validate accuracy.

• Report, charge and validate emergency and R&R leave posted to military pay records.

• Provide quality reach-back support to deployed site financial managers to resolve urgent routine and complex pay and travel problems.

• Provide accurate, timely transfer of military pay disbursement/collection documents to DFAS for pay record updates of other services USSDP collections.

• Audit, input, and validate pay entitlement postings for USAF personnel assigned to AOR.

• Identify, establish, and ensure the resolution of documents submitted via the Case Management System (CMS).

• Reconcile and balance BPAC 510 and 530 Merged Accountability and Fund Reporting (MAFR) input with posted disbursements/collections.

• Research/resolve out-of-balance conditions identified by DFAS on MAFR/CDS reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience is required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.

• Experience with Air Force Financial Services, e.g. Milpay, Civpay, and Travel Pay

• Experience with CRIS, DJMS, DCPS, DTS, DEAMS

• FM Accounting experience
