JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manager - Supplier Quality Location: Kohler, WI BASIC FUNCTION: As Manager - Supplier Quality, you will have the opportunity to impact Kohler Energy\'s ability to meet customer requirements by driving quality and delivery performance throughout Kohler\'s supply chain. It will be your responsibility to manage the team and the quality requirements for a diverse supply base ranging from fabrication to electronics. You will work daily to align priorities with operations, drive 8D\'s, and supplier continuous improvement to achieve KPI\'s for delivery and quality. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage team performance.Establish, monitor, and publish supplier quality and delivery KPI\'s. Implement internal controls to ensure effective use of supplied products within Kohlers operation to promote end product quality. Drive culture and use of proactive quality supplier quality tools such as Print Process Reviews, PPAP, Certificates of Conformance, etc. Responsible for on-site assessments and supplier qualification activities in conjunction with the Procurement organization. Defines quality expectations for Kohlers supply base and develops supplier action plan to achieve improvement targets. Leads problem solving teams both internally and externally to minimize production impact of quality defects, and drive process integrity for supplier change management for Kohler product. Participate in GEMBA walks and drive appropriate actions. Review cost reduction opportunities for supplied products and identify qualification requirements for implementation of these initiatives. Skills/Requirements SKILL PREFERENCES: Experience with supplier development and lean manufacturing preferred Experience with metal fabrication, welding, coating processes, and/or electronics preferred Previous experience working with Automotive Industry Action Group\'s (AIAG) processes for Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) preferred * Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
