SHELBURNE FALLS - Unit A Grant Funded Stipend Positions (2024-2025 School Year) Positions: Unit A -Elementary Instructional Leadership Team - Grant-Funded 2024-2025 School Year Stipend \$1000 Unit A educators to serve on building-based instructional leadership teams. Team members will work collaboratively with building administrators to support instructional improvement. For 24-25 school year, the focus will be literacy curriculum and instruction. Responsibilities include attending district-level professional development and planning meetings with other building leadership teams, overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the district literacy plan, and coordinating/leading building-based activities connected to the schoolwide instructional improvement goals, such as learning walks and professional development. Strong communication skills and the eagerness to learn, collaborate and grow professionally are essential characteristics of qualified applicants. Applicants should send an email of interest to their building principal. Unit A -Culturally Responsive Practices Leadership Team Grant-Funded 2024-2025 School Year Stipend \$500. One slot per school Seeking Unit A educators who will be working on a leadership team to write and communicate about a multi-year district strategic plan for culturally responsive practices. Ideal candidates will be committed to working toward equity and justice in the school district. Preference will be given to staff with experience on the CRPLA team. Participants will be expected to attend bimonthly after school meetings, and additional planning and communication as needed. Applicants should send an email of interest to their building principal. Unit A- Middle School Representative Literacy Leadership Team - Grant-Funded 2024-2025 School Year Stipend \$500 Seeking one middle school teacher to join a team of educators representing all schools and a range of grade levels with strong interest and investment in literacy in the district. Lead implementation of district literacy plan. Collaborate with building based leadership teams to lead continued shifts in instructional practice, assessment and systems to support a tiered model for literacy K-8. Involves 3 district-level meetings and work between meetings. Applicants should send an email of interest to Sarah Jetzon sjetzon@mtrsd.or Unit A -Elementary Regulated Classrooms Leadership Team - Grant-Funded 2024-2025 School Year Stipend \$750 Unit A staff who would work in collaboration with the building principal and outside consultant to support implementation of \"Regulated Classrooms\" framework in each elementary school. Responsibilities include 1 virtual and 2 in-person meetings with consultant to develop schoolspecific goals and action steps, and as-needed team meetings to plan and deliver additional support to colleagues with implementation. These supports could include professional development, peer observation, and consultation. Applicants should send an email of interest to their building principal.
