Job Overview
The role of the IT HR Director is to act as an executive level IT business partner across the Human Capital Management areas of HR operations, talent management, communications, benefits, and payroll. This includes ownership of all enterprise applications in this space and managing a multi-level organization responsible for run, grow, and transform support of these applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with executive business leaders to set technology roadmaps and will own the successful implementation of the roadmap deliverables.

A Day In The Life
Act as the key IT liaison to business executives across the HR and Payroll functional areas
Manage a team of 8 IT managers and business Analysts (both internal and contracted)
Understand emerging technologies and target key technologies as differentiators for Hubbell
Partner with business and IT leaders to develop and implement technology roadmap
Engage with the IT PMO on project intake and prioritization of potential solutions
Collaborate with other IT Business Partners and senior IT leaders on project execution
Responsible for successful IT project execution across in scope solutions
Ensure all systems in the HCM space are maintained, up to date, secure, and compliant
What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Human Resources
Must be able to effectively collaborate with business and IT leaders
Track record of building and managing effective and successful teams
Strong management instincts with ability to proactively predict and react
Ability to prioritize work and manage corresponding budgets and cost
Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts
Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
HCM systems support and management background a plus
AMS background a plus
