Aerotek Journeyman Electrician in Sherman, Texas

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will work from diagrams and schematics to wire instruments and prepare sites for automation system design and programming. Your tasks will include measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit, as well as installing tubing for instruments. You will pull wiring through conduit, label it appropriately, and connect wiring to controllers and instruments. You will assist in testing the continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as multimeters. Additionally, you will mount instruments and PLCs in panels using various hand tools, observe the functioning of installed equipment or systems to detect hazards, and assist in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing wiring and connections.

Hard Skills
