At North Sky Communications , as a Supervisor Telecom Aerial , you’ll be responsible for oversight of one or more aerial telecommunication construction crews; responsible for ensuring that the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of a customer's telecommunications equipment is completed safely, timely, and accurately.

    What you’ll do as a Supervisor Telecom Aerial

  • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project and ensure employees are working safely.

  • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  • Provide daily guidance and coordinate fiber splicing crew activities

  • Conduct pre-construction walks.

  • Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.

  • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project.

  • Reports construction progress daily and prepare and submit redlined construction drawings and documents upon job completion

  • Investigate complaints and take appropriate action to correct deficiencies

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older and Valid Driver's License

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Two to three (2-3) years prior aerial supervisor experience.

  • Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.

  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.

  • Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

    Additional qualifications

  • Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety

  • Technology proficiency: intermediate computer skills and experience using electronic devices including iPhone and iPad

  • Knowledge of engineering prints and ability to understand and interpret

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

    Physical abilities & exposures

  • Rout inely: Working outdoors subject to inclement weather conditions, Stand and walk for long periods of time, Sitting for periods of time during travel to jobsites, bend, stoop, stand, walk, operate vehicle, lift between 10 and 25 pounds

  • Occasionally: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required by the workload, lift greater than 55 pounds, climb stairs

    Salary Range $90,000 - 110,000 / year
