POSITION SUMMARY The Service and Parts Coordinator is responsible for project work as supervised by the Fleet Manager. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full Time PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES • Inputs data in GFS proprietary software; send and receive emails as required. • Ensures that all arriving stock receipts are efficiently and carefully executed. • Processes invoices, create work orders, and purchase orders. • Participates in an ongoing basis in routine inventory cycle counts. • Helps prepare for and take part in, all physical inventories as scheduled by the company. • Assists with inventory maintenance reports. • Ensures shop space is organized and clean. • Acts as a liaison between intra company departments. • Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations. • Assists in developing solutions to specific problem areas. • Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding asset trends. • Assists in development of projects as well as make recommendations to appropriate personnel. • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures as well as compliance to contractual obligations. • Maintains vendor relations to ensure good standing relationship. • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. • Implementation of cost control measures • Vehicles registration and permits, distribute documents to correct people. • Researches new items and new vendors. • Assists truck driver’s with directions as needed. • Assists mechanics in Maintenance Shop as needed. • Performs filing, scanning, and copying. • Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry. • Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization. • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
