Description

We are in the medical device manufacturing industry based in Worcester, Massachusetts. We're currently in need of a Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing the month end close process, the AP and AR processes, and assist with the year-end audit.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts for three companies on a monthly basis

• Monitor Profit & Loss accounts to ensure accurate postings

• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations

• Record payroll entries and make necessary month-end adjustments

• Maintain control over inventory and ensure accuracy

• Conduct financial reporting and analysis to inform decision-making processes

• Carry out bank and account reconciliations regularly

• Provide support for the annual financial audit, working collaboratively with auditors

• Assist the Chief Financial Officer as needed

• Provide support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff across the different companies.

Requirements • Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated experience in overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing procedures and practices
