[Monitor equipment and tooling to ensure they are maintained according to the requirements, including designing, remodelling, and repairing the electrical control panel and electrical systems in the manufacturing equipment. Perform preventative maintenance procedures as required. Perform PLC / Robot control and HMI (Human Machine Interface) software programming activities. Assist with machine installation and design activities as required. Serve as subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior technicians on complex matters. Support initiatives focused on efficiency improvements and operational innovation. Support Engineers in various initiatives to include scrap reduction and recommends solutions for improvement. Assist with generating and maintaining line documentation including Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control plans, Workmanship Standards and check sheets for line members and technicians. As a subject matter expert may assist in preparing training materials and conducting training related to the area of responsibility for other technicians to improve skills. Participates in cross-functional meeting as required. Supports and ensures compliance with Companys policy. Analyze scrap status and finds solutions for improvement.
