Physical Therapy Assistant - Part Time Wilson Health Sidney, Ohio As the part time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Physical Therapy Assistant at Wilson Health, you will be responsible for administering Physical Therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist. You will also administer treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist after the PT has first evaluated the patient and assisted with the restoration of patient functionality to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. You will be helping patients reach their maximum performance and level of function while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Physical Therapist Assistants participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department, and participate in CQI. Schedule: This part-time, nonexempt position will work between 20-24 hours (or 3 days) per week. About the Facility: Wilson Health is a 44 bed, Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) accredited, community hospital and health system which provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including Medical/Surgical Services, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, Urology, Endocrinology, Women's Health, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Sleep Center and more.CPS Solutions has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this Rehabilitation Department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Rehab: Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:30pm. Saturday and Sunday are on an on-call, as needed, basis. The Rehab department utilizes Meditech and Maestro software systems. Required Qualifications: Associate Degree (AS) in Physical Therapy Assisting Required: 1 year of inpatient acute and outpatient treatment experience Preferred: Inpatient care and outpatient treatment with 2-5 or more years of experience Hospital Requirements (may be required): (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity Hep B3 Series (or declination) (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th Covid Vaccine-Full required Benefits: All part-time employees enjoy a competitive hourly pay rate, pro-rated Paid Time Off (PTO), eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with an employer match and eligibility for the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) CPS Solutions, LLC Requirements: All employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check, drug test and signed onboarding documents.
