Job Summary:

The Senior Employee Relations Advisor provides expertise in case management, performance improvement, and policy compliance, while managing escalated cases and leading complex investigations. This role delivers consistent, high-quality service, upholding our team's commitment to excellence and professionalism and enhancing the employee experience. Acting as the primary contact for site leadership teams within their scope, the Senior Advisor builds trusted relationships, delivers timely data and analysis, and provides actionable recommendations to improve employee relations outcomes. They also contribute to cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects that align with the goals of the COE and the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage escalated and high-risk employee relations cases, leading complex investigations and providing recommendations for fair and timely resolutions.

  • Serve as the primary contact for site leadership teams within the assigned geographic area, building trusted relationships and providing timely data, analysis, and actionable recommendations to improve employee relations outcomes.

  • Provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies, ensuring compliance and providing insights to inform policy updates and education initiatives

  • Coach managers on conflict resolution, policy compliance, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) to drive accountability and engagement.

  • Support complex employee separations, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining consistency in handling sensitive cases.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of employee relations cases in the case management system to ensure adherence to SLAs.

  • Deliver exceptional service in all interactions, promoting a fair, professional, and engaging employee experience.

  • Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives focused on advancing the goals of the COE and the broader HR organization.

  • Act as mentors to Employee Relations Advisors, providing coaching, career guidance, and support for professional development to enhance team capabilities.

  • Collaborate on the design and execution of quarterly ER communication/education campaigns, using site-level insights and emerging trends to ensure relevant and impactful content.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience : 5+ years of experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.

  • Skills : Expertise in managing complex employee relations cases, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws. Demonstrated understanding of employee relations practices, performance improvement processes, and policy interpretation.

  • Other : Strong knowledge of employment law, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.

  • Work Authorization: Must be Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Location: Individuals based in St. Louis, MO, Kennesaw, GA, or Dayton, OH areas preferred.
