Link Solutions is seeking a Project Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ.

  • Must be a US Citizen 

  • Security Clearance is required

  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The Project Scheduling Specialist will support the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) by creating and publishing technical documentation and manuals. You will assist in collecting and interpreting technical data, as well as coordinating layouts for publication across Army Enterprise programs at various life cycle stages.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed project schedules that outline all phases of the project lifecycle to include setting timelines, assigning tasks, and ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely updates and adherence to project timelines.

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.

  • Prepare and distribute regular status reports, highlighting key milestones and any deviations from the schedule.

  • Utilize project management software to track and manage project schedules and resources.

  • Facilitate regular scheduling meetings with stakeholders to review project timelines and address any issues.

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual requirements related to project scheduling.

Shift:

  • Monday thru Friday

  • Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily. 

  • US Citizen

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance 

  • Three (3+) years of experience in related field.

  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related education.

  • Experience in project management, including developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with team members, and managing project timelines.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

  • Ability to create and publish technical documentation and manuals. This includes collecting and interpreting technical data, and ensuring that all documentation meets relevant standards and guidelines.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders. This includes facilitating meetings, preparing status reports, and addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2013 or higher editions, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Project, and Microsoft Visio.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.

  • Experience working on government or military projects, especially within the U.S. Army or other defense-related organizations. 

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert or Master Certification.

  • Proficiency in advanced project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

  • Familiar with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
