Job Title: Substation EngineerJob Description

Large Utility Engineering Consulting firm seeks multiple electrical engineers to join the substation engineering team. The role involves creating conceptual design packages for physical substation and protection/controls packages. Responsibilities include outlining workload, assigning production-level work to designers and drafters, performing engineering calculations for design packages, and conducting QA/QC design reviews for the team.

Hard Skills

• Substation Engineering Experience (protection and controls or physical substation equipment design)

• Computer-aided design software proficiency

• Ability to perform engineering calculations

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

Ability to work fully remote for established engineers with the right skillset. Offices located in Silver Spring, MD; Atlanta, GA; Hartford, CT; Albany, NY; and Reading, PA. Junior level candidates may work a hybrid schedule.
