Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a ER Tech CNA/EMT

As a ER Tech CNA/CMT at MercyOne, you will assist in carrying out the phases of the nursing process as appropriately delegated by the Registered Nurse. Performs activities and functions of patient care which are task oriented and within the skill level and scope of the Emergency Room Technician, in accordance with MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center Policy and Procedure Manual.

Schedule:

  • Full Time 36hrs a week, 12hr shifts with rotating schedule, every third weekend, every other holiday.

General Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support Certification (BCLS) required.

  • Is able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team.

  • Is able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.

  • Must have a general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. Healthstream, internet, etc.)

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Education:

  • Current EMT maintaining a current Iowa license, or must have successfully completed a 75 hour credit (or more) Nursing Assistant Program (Certified Nurse Assistant) from an accredited school. A minimum of 1-2 years prior patient care experience preferred.
