  Job Summary

  The position will uphold Avera Behavioral Health’s mission and values to enhance health care in areas of safety and security, respect and dignity, spirituality and world class care. This position will assist in formal and informal staff education and act as a resource for staff and leaders at BHS. This position will assist in the development and implementation of therapeutic programming for the behavioral health inpatient units. Additionally, they will be expected to be a member or lead various committees throughout the hospital. This position will be accountable for project management for new initiatives throughout the behavioral health department.

  Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services Field required, Master degree preferred.

  Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations

• Crisis Prevention Institute’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification Required. If not required within 3 months.

• Community Healthcare Worker (CHW) is preferred

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $22.50 - $34.25 per hour
