• This weekend only position is for a trained phlebotomist looking for PRN work!

  Job Summary

• The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection following approved techniques and policies for hospital inpatients and clinic outpatients. The Phlebotomist also organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre-analytic functions following established standards and practices.

  Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

• Six months to one year prior experience in phlebotomy is required for this PRN Weekends only position.

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Certification as a Phlebotomist Technician (PBT) from the ASCP preferred.

  Work Schedule

• PRN - Weekends Only (Sat & Sun)

• Day shift; 9am - 5pm;

• Must work at least one weekend/month

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
