Description

Join Our Team as a Tool Coordinator at Thompson Solutions Group!

Are you a tech-savvy, hands-on leader who’s ready to dive in and get things done? Thompson Solutions Group is looking for a dynamic Tool Coordinator to join our team! This is not just a desk job – you’ll be a working supervisor directly involved in maintaining accurate online inventories of tools and equipment while ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to our job sites. Your main customers? The field leaders who are making things happen at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:Maintain optimal levels of tool and equipment inventory, preventing over- or understocking. Through meticulous record-keeping and regular physical audits, you’ll ensure that our physical inventory aligns with our online system.

  • Warehouse Organization:Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Tool & Safety Inspections:Inspect returned tools and safety equipment, performing or scheduling necessary repairs to keep everything in top condition before sending it back out to the field.

  • Delivery Coordination:Supervise and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring everything arrives on time and providing outstanding customer service along the way.

  • Team Leadership:You will provide guidance and support to our truck drivers, ensuring they have what they need to succeed. You will also verify the quality of their work.

  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Prefabrication Manager and others to ensure efficient and effective material deliveries.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, delivery, or a related field.

  • Strong computer skills are a must – our inventory system is online, and you’ll be generating reports to keep everything up to date.

  • A self-motivated individual who can plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with coworkers, vendors, and direct reports.

  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with the ability to lead and direct a team.

  • Forklift operation skills are a must; a CDL is a plus but not required.

We'd love to hear from you if you’re ready to take on a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Apply today to join the Thompson Solutions Group team!
