Job Summary

The Women’s Health Service Line Medical Director works in collaboration with the Women’s and Children’s Service Line Leadership and provides leadership for the Women’s Health subcommittee of the Women’s and Children’s Service Line which includes all Avera Women’s and Children’s locations, as well as formal and informal entities. The Women’s Health Service Line Medical Director will provide discipline-specific leadership in conjunction with the Clinical VP and Administrative Dyad on projects to improve, innovate, and expand Women’s and Children’s care throughout the Avera system.

Education and/or Experience

  • Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine required

  • Three years of post-residency experience in treating gynecologic patients required

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Medical license

  • Federal DEA, state CSR

  • Board certification in OB/GYN, Family Medicine or OB/GYN Sub-Specialty

Work Schedule

  • Up to 16 hours per month or 192 hours per year
