Role reports to: Supply Chain Leader - Baby Care

Location: Kenvue ' s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: up to 10

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,500 . This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Demand Planning Manager, US Baby Care is responsible for facilitating the integration of commercial requirements with End to End Supply Chain business partners while delivering key business results: sales, forecast accuracy, service (UFR / OTIF-D), finished goods inventory, slow moving and obsolete inventory, and compliance. Includes, but not limited to seasonal/scenario planning, new product introductions, end of life management, customer event planning, business continuity planning, vulnerability business impact planning & process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Own Regional Sales and Operations Planning process in support of the delivery of key business metrics
Lead Demand Planning and collaborate with Supply Planning, Project Management, Customer Logistics Services, Value Stream Leadership, Affiliates, other Supply Chain functions, and Commercial partners
Support advancing Regional and Global Supply Chain capabilities through the development of people, processes and systems solutions aligned to support the current and future business environment
Develop and manage the 24-month demand plan for the assigned Franchise(s), learning the forecasting process, delivering critical metrics (MAPE, BIAS, System accuracy, stat forecast usage), and ensuring SAP usage of statistical modeling and other system tools
Partner with Regional Strategic Demand, Regional Inventory and Regional Supply, develop the inventory strategy for the assigned Franchise(s): Includes Entitlement, inventory business planning, projection roll up to Squad / Franchise / Country level and corrective action planning as appropriate
Coordinate Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory action plans with Regional Strategic Demand, Regional Inventory, Regional Supply, and Sales Operations. Includes Business Planning, routine monitoring and reporting, corrective action planning and dispositioning.
Lead Seasonal Planning process, strategy setting, and communication/alignment across teams where applicable
Represent assigned franchise during vulnerability reviews and action planning
Collaborate with Regional Supply to define future vulnerability and partner with Sales Operations, Commercial Leadership and Deliver to take customer management and demand shaping actions as appropriate
Manage the strategy and plan for New Product Introductions (NPI) for the first 6 months partnering closely with Strategic Demand and Supply Planning
Represent Supply Chain at NPI governance forums with a lens to enabling solutions, risk management and alignment across Demand, Supply, Trade Customization and Project Management
Represent Supply Chain on Business Initiatives such as, but not limited to Acquisitions/Divestitures, Cross Functional Continuous Improvement, Regional/Global Supply Chain Planning Capabilities, Commercial Channel Development
Maintain employee development plans, performance reviews and succession plans for direct reports and work with other managers to continually develop organization design improvements for the department

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a focus in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of eight (8) years of business related experience is required
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Support or Project Management is required
Demonstrated strong understanding of end to end processes (Supply to Customer) and associated analytics is required
Successful track record of delivering business results as an outcome of cross functional collaboration is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications are required
Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required
Ability to influence across various levels of organization is required

Desired Qualifications
An advanced degree is preferred
Prior people management experience is preferred
Proficiency of SAP, APO, AC Nielsen or other forecasting/planning software is preferred
An IBF, APICS and/or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is preferred
