Role reports to: Regional Director, NA Procurement Logistics

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025

Travel %: 10

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $113,000 to $195,500. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Regional Senior Manager, Procurement - Logistics NA is responsible for the leadership of Procurement activities across Logistics spend categories, driving financial results and alignment between business and category strategies. The leader's organization will execute strategic business and industry engagement to establish a reliable, resilient and effective supply base for the company. The Sr Manager of Procurement, Logistics NA will also lead an organization tasked with end-to-end spend management responsibilities including, but not limited to, Network Strategy, Category Management, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracting, Innovation, and Talent Management.

The Regional Senior Manager, Procurement - Logistics NA will be accountable to delivering aggressive financial targets, including cost and working capital improvement. Further, the leader will deliver against a balanced value proposition including innovation, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and procurement process excellence. The leader must embrace agile ways of working and will be accountable to developing and recruiting world class talent. The Regional Senior Manager, Procurement - Logistics NA will be a member of the Global Logistics Procurement Leadership Team and be a critical partner of the Regional Deliver Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage in the development of Logistics Procurement strategies to establish a world class organization and supplier base to create a competitive advantage
Align category strategies with the company strategy and stakeholders
Coach and recruit world class talent
Deliver financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets
Steward financial policy and responsible supplier and procurement standards
Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utilization of world class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources
Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships
Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities
Actively engages with the team and internal and external stakeholders throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process
Manage the team and modes in the analysis and definition of the category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy and Leads the category spend baseline
Leads with support from the Category Manager the development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies and ensures proper documentation
Manage the team to execute end-to-end sourcing projects for less complex categories, participate in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with the Category Manager, perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, supplier categorization, and spend map analysis

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
A minimum of 8 years of working experience in procurement or a related discipline is required, should also have Logistics Procurement/Operations experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the Logistics industry, technologies is required
Strong knowledge of the transportation categories in scope of the role
Strong experience with supplier selection, rate negotiation, and sourcing event execution
Leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are required
Experience in identifying and harnessing customer oriented innovative solutions and should cost model analysis is required
P&L ownership/management experience
Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) is required
Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of stakeholders is required
Leader management experience and talent development is required
Experience leading in a large, global organization is required
