Welder - Start this week - Weekly Pay

Location: Snyder, Nebraska

Job Summary: The Welder is responsible for performing all welding procedures, including machine settings and necessary fittings. This role involves welding aluminum and other materials, inspecting welds for quality, and maintaining welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all welding procedures, including machine settings and necessary fittings.

  • Weld aluminum and other materials in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

  • Inspect welds for cracks, burn-through, and weld spatter.

  • Grind and clean areas where required.

  • Maintain welding equipment, including tips, liners, and other components.

  • Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.

  • Stay current with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.

  • Must read blueprints and engineering drawings and perform shop math to layout, fabricate, and weld various parts and assemblies.

  • Proficient in using welding machines and understanding their operation.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders.

  • Ability to work with arms above head.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

  • Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00

Direct-hire for the company. You will recieve comprehensive health insurance, PTO, and holiday pay.
