Job Description

Provide visibility and monitoring capabilities to the process operations at the manufacturing floor for easy identification of the continuous improvement opportunities with respect to safety, quality and compliance, and support implementation.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Support manufacturing scheduling and production support for continuous improvement projects

  • Serve as representative for continuous improvement for the assigned department

  • Engage with applicable department on a routine basis to stay informed of issues faced and subsequently resolve them

  • Prepare timely project reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including reporting any potential project delays timely and provide mitigation plans to assure on-time execution

  • Enhance industrial knowledge and networking by working with cross functional teams

  • Exposure to implementation of Lean and Six Sigma tools and strategies

Job Requirements:

  • This is an in-person position located in Covington, GA

  • Current Undergraduate graduating December 2025 or later

  • Must have proficient computer skills and be experienced using MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; able to efficiently communicate with cross- functional teams and management on recommended course of action, with minimal assistance

  • Some clean room and cool/hot storage conditions

  • May be required to work in a cold and/or wet environment

  • May be required to enter controlled environments requiring special gowning

  • No makeup, no jewelry, nail polish, artificial fingernails maybe worn in the manufacturing environment

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later

  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)

  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames

  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

  • Paid sick time

  • Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
