Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician for the 2nd Shift. Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, water sampling, water bioburden testing, in-process bioburden testing, and bacterial endotoxin testing (BET). You will gather necessary supplies, labels, and materials, collect water samples aseptically from the manufacturing area, and process them in the lab. You will support a wide range of biological, chemical, or physical analyses on pharmaceutical products, from raw materials to finished goods, including environmental monitoring programs. This position may involve microbiological testing, compliance, QCMIS, or laboratory operations. Key tasks include environmental monitoring, critical utility sampling, endotoxin testing, bioburden testing, microbial identification, and final product sterility testing. You will support lab operations through sample control, equipment metrology, data reconciliation/archiving, and computerized system programming.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Social Circle, Georgia.

Work Environment

1 immediate opening with possible additional openings to follow. Weekend Second Shift (Thursday – Sunday: 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM midnight, 10-hour shift). Training for 2-3 months Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Daily work in the manufacturing area, requiring gowning 1-3 times a day. Full cleanroom environment: no makeup, jewelry, or nails allowed. Gowning includes scrubs, smock, bonnet, safety glasses, shoe covers, and full gowning with only eyes visible under goggles.
