John Asdell with Robert Half is partnered with a high growth Real Estate company seeking to bring on a Sr. Financial Analyst. This Senior Analyst would be joining an elite team of Real Estate FP& A professionals supporting the decisions behind the company’s aggressive expansion. The company’s trajectory is heading toward an IPO in a few years. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategies and driving success in the competitive real estate market. The wide variety of interesting work includes building complex financial models, decision support for capital raises, and working across departments on critical development projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the performance of our existing real estate assets, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

  • Create complex financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, development projects, and other investment opportunities.

  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry data to provide meaningful insights and forecasts for decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, accounting, and investor relations, to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes.

  • Prepare presentations for executive leadership, investors, and external stakeholders, communicating financial performance and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively.

  • Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, supporting the assessment of financial risks and opportunities.

  • Continuously enhance financial analysis methodologies and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA are highly valued.

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling

  • Prior experience with a REIT and/or investment banking desired, but not required

  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP& A) and budgeting processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders up to and including board members

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
