We are looking for a full-time responsible Facility Manager/Maintenance Person/Handyman to manage a large private school campus located in Somers NY. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am- 2pm. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the school. The ideal candidate will be responsible, well-organized, bi-lingual and have good time management skills.

Knowledge of the following systems is a must: electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning, BMS, palatable water, sewerage, and generators. No license is required but must have working knowledge of systems.

Must be able to supervise a small staff of maintenance techs, custodians, and cleaners. Will also be held accountable to oversee outside vendors/trades. Must be available on call for evening or weekend emergencies.

Typical daily responsibilities might include, but are not limited to: Performing minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Performing minor carpentry repairs. Painting. Plastering. Fountain maintenance. Filter Changes. Changing light bulbs. Unclogging toilets. Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Coordinating set ups for school events.

Salary range $55,000 - $85,000 per year; commensurate with experience. Benefits package available. Must have working vehicle. Must pass background check.
