Minimum Education• Bachelor degree or Associate degree in Health Information Management required. May consider Bachelor or Associate degree in other related field

Required LicensesOther • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), preferred

Minimum Work Experience• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a Health Information Management Department in an acute care hospital setting preferred

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
