JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill a combined role as a 2nd Shift Team Leader – Warehouse/In-house SAP Specialist . This position is responsible for supervising warehouse staff and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Additionally, the role requires managing material movements within the facility through SAP systems, ensuring the accuracy of inventory data, and coordinating with various departments to support smooth production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in SAP/EWM systems, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards.Team Leader - Warehouse:Lead and supervise the warehouse team in daily operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.Ensure all warehouse functions are completed efficiently and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Maintain inventory accuracy using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles and complete shipping/receiving transactions in the M3 system.Train and evaluate warehouse personnel, providing motivation and support to ensure a team-oriented work environment.Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and adherence to emergency procedures and regulations.Collaborate with management and other departments to achieve company goals.SAP Specialist:

  • Serve as the SAP/EWM subject matter expert, overseeing the movement of raw materials and finished goods across different warehouse locations.

  • Convert STO’s (Stock Transfer Order) into STR’s (Stock Transfer Request)

  • Build STR’s into manageable trailer loads

  • Ensure accurate tracking and movement of materials using SAP, reconciling master data to maintain up-to-date records.

  • Coordinate interplant shipments, manage incoming and outgoing trucks, and maintain special storage requirements for sensitive materials (e.g., chilled goods or fragile products).

  • Communicate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and report on KPI performance.

  • Address material shortages, quality issues, and discrepancies, providing solutions to minimize disruptions to production.

Team Leader - Warehouse:

  • Lead and supervise the warehouse team in daily operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in warehouse management, distribution, or supply chain operations.

  • Experience with SAP/EWM systems and strong proficiency in material management software.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and developing staff.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, GMPs, and HACCP standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed, including 12-hour shifts.

Physical Demands/Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift.

  • Manual dexterity required to handle tools, materials, and controls.

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing at least 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse environment with constant movement, noise, and motorized equipment.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, beard nets, gloves, and protective eyewear may be required in certain areas.

  • Split between office tasks and time on the warehouse or plant floor.
