UnitedHealth Group Associate Technical Support Analyst - National Remote in Somerset, New Jersey

The Cardiology Technical Analyst role is focused primarily on troubleshooting escalated cases coming from Cardiology customers who use our product. Seek resolution, if none can be found document work done and escalate to T3 for further assistance. Training staff members to improve competency with the Cardiology PACS application and troubleshooting.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot escalated case while documenting work done in Salesforce

  • Work directly with customers and deliver superb customer service

  • Join troubleshooting calls & provide technical guidance regarding complex configurations

  • Training new hires & existing staff on new products and features along with knowledge gaps & lessons learned

  • Identify problems with internal documentation, processes and seek resolution

  • Creating knowledge base articles.Some after hours work may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

  • 4+ years working with PACS applications, with a strong understanding of the following areas:

  • Medical imaging workflows

  • DICOM standard

  • Network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, etc)

  • Active Directory; users, groups & policies

  • Windows administration

  • Enterprise storage

  • IIS & SSL configurations

  • SQL Database; backups & queries

  • Windows Clustering with SQL

  • Load balancers; F5, Citrix, LB.org

  • Virtualization technologies such as VMware & Hyper-V

  • Citrix

  • Application hardening

  • Server & workstation hardware

  • Analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Diagnostic tools for troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Technical Studies or equivalent experience in medical Imaging preferred

  • Extensive experience with Cardiology PACS, knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA quality system regulations, Canadian Medical device regulation

  • High level of initiative, energy, and ability to work well within a fast-paced environment and under pressure

  • Excellent organizational skills, flexible, and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Effectively communicates to customers in both written and verbal forms, including the ability to convey difficult/sensitive information tactfully

  • Self-starter with exceptional commitment to providing superior proactive customer service

  • Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, passionate to drive, energy and edge to achieve

California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C Residents Only : The hourly range for California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C residents is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
