SHI Sr. Product Owner - CRM in Austin, Texas

Job Summary

The Senior Product Owner - CRM is a pivotal role within our Business System team, responsible for translating business strategy into actionable tasks that drive the creation and enhancement of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365) product and ensure adherence to the Agile scrum process. As the driving force behind our product development process, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and execute the vision and strategy for our Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365) solutions. Reporting to the Business Systems team, you will ensure that our products meet both business and user needs.

This position must report to either the SHI Somerset, NJ, or Austin, TX, office locations as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to :

  • Business functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including conducting workshops, designing future-state processes, and collaborating with business stakeholders to define objectives and outcomes

  • Helps stakeholders define processes and be an advisor to customers and other consultants

  • Advises stakeholders on best practices for CRM processes, user interface, and architecture

  • Assists technical consultants with architecting CRM, related customizations, and reports to model the client’s organizational processes

  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders during the implementation process, including training and troubleshooting

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including process flows, user stories, and use cases

  • Experience in configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Project Service

  • Good knowledge with the latest industry developments and product updates related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

  • Apply deep knowledge of Agile principles and extensive experience in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Execute on complex products, managing interdependencies and driving a successful roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365)

  • Assess and ensure that the customer’s existing sales processes are closely aligned with industry best practices for services and product sales. Configure and optimize CRM features accordingly to enhance efficiency

  • Identify opportunities for improvement by recommending additional CRM features or defining new processes that could provide significant value to the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in driving product vision, roadmap, design, and communication

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with Agile principles, leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources

  • Extensive techno-functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365)

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Agile principles

  • Experience in leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources

  • Understanding what is required to create a successful Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365) application

  • Ability to manage and arrange sprints

  • Ability to advocate for your ideas and influence people at all levels across a wide variety of job functions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team

Preferred Skills

  • CSPO certification

  • Microsoft CRM Application certification a plus (such as MB-200, MB-210-240, MB-600, MB2-710, +/or MB2-716)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools

  • Understanding of SHI systems from a technical and business perspective

Unique Requirements

  • CSPO certification is preferred but notrequired

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include but are not limitedto,medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
