Description

We are opening a unique opportunity for a Divisional/Plant Controller in Sonoma, California. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial activities, including the implementation and support of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring the accuracy and productivity of daily accounting activities, and preparing post-closing financial reports. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, testing, user training, and post-implementation support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

• Manage the accuracy and productivity of daily activities including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, and inventory management.

• Prepare all post-closing financial reports, including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division, and weekly cash flow by division.

• Utilize skills in 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, Eaton, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Budget Processes, and Capital Management.

• Run operations of accounts payable, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations.

• Ensure the integrity of perpetual inventory and fixed asset records.

• Manage the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including system setup, system testing, user training, and post-implementation support.

• Utilize MS Dynamics 365 Business Central in daily tasks and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience in finance management.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Deep understanding of business principles and practices.

• Superior attention to detail; organizational skills; planning skills; problem-solving skills; analytical skills.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
