Were hiring a Item Operations Support Specialist II to join our Item Operations Team.

Responsibilities

 

Review & process stop payments, savings bonds, credit backs, account charge offs, holds and warnings.

Process incoming return checks from Fed, send necessary communication to FCs and customers, make accurate GL entries.

Participate in large dollar exception screening and follow up.

Verification of various reports for accuracy.

Perform quality assurance review of account file maintenance changes.

Service fee reversals.

Research and process large item returns notification.

Manage stop payment process, fee reversals, reports review and check adjustments thru Fedline.

Provide input and support to the Risk Management, Compliance, and Electronic Banking teams as required.

Respond to questions related to all types of deposit accounts.

Provide assistance and backup to supervisor, lead special projects.

Provide other routine department tasks such as, filing, opening & sorting mail and provide backup for other department jobs as needed.

Assist in the resolution of FC Teller operational issues on an assigned basis as the secondary support line specialist, while using the service standards established by Univest for all interactions.

Support the Item Operations Teller hunt group by telephone and back-up various E-mail groups when needed on a rotation

Perform additional duties as required.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

HOURS: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional phone support coverage may be assigned on a rotating basis:

Fridays 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Saturdays 9am to 1:00pm

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 2 years' experience with Deposit/Item Operations or similar banking experience.

Excellent customer service, communication and telephone skills

Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work independently

Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines Problem solving skills

Deposit product knowledge essential

Knowledge of Deposit Regulations.

Experience with Jack Henry, Synergy or equivalent banking systems, Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook and Team preferred.

Ability to work independently, understands how to work with and navigate various forms of technology.

Have the capability to complete all job duties remotely as required.
