Were hiring a Loan Fufillment Manager to join our Loan Operations Team in Souderton, PA. Please note, once trained this poisiton will be hybrid.

Responsibilities

 

Manage loan boarding, funding, post-closing, and participations teams. Directly managing supervisor and senior staff, providing ongoing and timely mentoring, coaching, feedback, and training. Prepare and deliver all performance reviews within established bank guidelines.

Attend regular one on ones with direct reports, and organize regular team meetings to establish individual and team performance goals, to review, coach and monitor performance against goals, discuss operations issues, facilitate collaboration, and review staff training and development requirements.

 

Direct and support the following core loan operations: loan, collateral and insurance boarding to core system, loan funding requests and reconciliations, post-close verifications, fee processing, and participation boarding, transaction processing, and settlements.

Support Operations, Relationship Managers, Administrative staff, and customers with servicing issues; serve as an escalation point for other departments to resolve issues or advise on complex lending situations.

 

Responsible for ensuring team is following established policies and procedures for tracking, scanning, and verification of documents. Accountable for establishing processes to verify accurate final loan packages are boarded and funded within policy.

 

Responsible for ensuring teams create and maintain comprehensive procedures to reinforce bank policies, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.

Play a key role in the external decision making as it relates to projects and streamlining departments within loan operations; analyze processes and procedures and implement changes as necessary. Provide statistical and analytical reports to management to support recommendations for changes.

Lead special projects as assigned, acting as a change agent for the initiatives and providing constructive insight. Prioritize work assignments and projects in alignment with bank and department goals.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limi ed to, special projects requiring extensive knowledge of bank and department operations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

 

5 years loan operations, finance, or commercial lending experience, or equivalent required related education.

Comprehensive understanding of bank loan operations and commercial credit.

Advanced understanding of mortgage, commercial, consumer loans and financial accounting concepts.

Ability to perform loan accounting computations, including interest accruals, payment amortizations, and billing calculations.

Ability to analyze complex commercial and real estate loan documents and make solid independent decisions consistent with Univest loan policies and guidelines accurately and without compromise.

Fundamental knowledge of insurance practices related to hazard, general liability, builder's risk, property, and flood insurance.

Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills; ability to motivate and develop employees.

 

Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and enter data quickly and accurately to meet deadlines, including end of month activity.

Familiarity with Jack Henry and Salesforce/nCino, or equivalent systems preferred.
