Aerotek Maintenance Technician in South Bend, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing wires by primarily managing wire-draw machines equipped with a variety of motors and drives. Your daily responsibilities include attending start-of-shift meetings to identify and address mission-critical issues to enhance production efficiency swiftly. You will be tasked with motor repairs, involving the replacement of motors and programming cards, as well as installing new equipment. Additionally, you will conduct mechanical repairs, specifically replacing pumps and gearboxes. A strong ability to troubleshoot electrical issues is essential for success in this role.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with 3-phase 480v motors

  • Proficiency in AC, DC, VFD drives

  • Ability to replace motors and programming cards

  • Mechanical repair skills

  • Electrical troubleshooting

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in South Bend, Indiana.
