The Physician Recruiter oversees recruitment activities including identifying needs, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, contracting, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the physician recruitment database and generate candidate leads.

  • Screen candidates and coordinate interviews, travel, and community tours.

  • Liaise between hiring, credentialing, and onboarding processes.

  • Assist with physician relocation and onboarding to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with physicians through engagement and support.

  • Participate in marketing and business development efforts to foster growth.

  • Report recruitment activities to Senior Leadership and the Board.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, marketing or a related area of graduate study preferred.

Licensure: Credentials as a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator is desired.

Experience: 3 – 5 years' experience in healthcare, of which at least 1 year in physician services, physician recruitment and/or physician practice management. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and data analysis skills is required.
