Title Seasonal General Labor - Leaf Pickup Open Date 9/23/2024 Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Bargaining / Non-Bargaining Non-Bargaining Division Public Works Location Streets and Sewers/Streets Reports To SuperintendentsandJob LeadersandManager of Streets Schedule Mondayand Friday 40 hours within time frame of 7:00 am-3:00 pm Pay Rate $16.00 Hourly Description DEFINITION: Performs manual labor on leaf crews pushing, raking loose leaves. **VARIOUS JOB ESSENTIALS**: Use hand tools such as rakes and lutes to move leaves for an entire shift Ability to be on your feet and walk for an entire shift NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Must have the ability to perform very strenuous work in extremely adverse weather conditions. Knowledge of work crew practices, basic safety and traffic rules and regulations. Keep work area and equipment clean. Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Hourly Rate: $16.00 **QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent **LICENSE REQUIREMENT**: None **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**: Ability to climb into truck beds, ability to push or pull equipment into position, ability to perform very strenuous physical work for an entire shift. **WORK ENVIRONMENT**: Most, if not all, work to be performed occurs outdoors, must be able to work in extremely adverse weather conditions and/or environment.
