Southside Behavioral Health Community Support Program Supervisor in South Hill, Virginia

SBH is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible for the supervision and management of the Community Support Center, in delivery of psychosocial rehabilitation to adults with long-term, severe psychiatric disabilities. Supervision responsibilities include: yearly evaluation of staff, monthly reports on program results, supervision of Medicaid components, implementation of all DBHDS licensing requirements as well as SBH policies and procedures, yearly individual programming for each consumer, and working with other organizations to assure the delivery of quality services for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation consumers.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and provides overall administrative supervision of daily operations of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program.
  • Supervises reimbursement, transportation and information systems.
  • Develops Individualized client service plans for PSR in compliance with Medicaid standards.
  • Counsels consumers and their families as to responsiveness to goals and objectives in Individual Service Plan.
  • Schedules assessments and completes PAs as required to meet criteria for services
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in human services field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling)
  • At least one years experience providing direct services to persons with diagnosis of mental illness.
  • QMHP-A Required
  • Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements.
  • Valid drivers license and safe driving record.
