Perform detailed calculations and structural design under the direct supervision of Senior Engineers using industry-specific structural analysis software and in accordance with the appropriate codes, design manuals and guidelines. Assist in the preparation of contract documents utilizing software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit. Assist in the preparation of structural-specific technical specification, including Division 3 specifications for concrete, Division 4 for masonry and Division 5 specifications for steel. Assist in the preparation of high-level engineering cost estimates. Perform construction observation and structural condition assessments/inspections of existing facilities. Prepare technical reports and summaries and interface directly with coworkers, clients and stakeholders. Construction administration, including inspection/observation, oversight, review, and responses to shop drawings, RFIs and RFCs.
