Robert Half Office Manager/HR Assistant in South San Francisco, California

Description

Our client is seeking an Office Manager/Human Resources Assistant to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of an office, manage vendor relationships, greet visitors, and provide general administrative support to staff. Responsibilities also include Human Resources administrative tasks related to employee onboarding, benefits, compliance, acting as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR matters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, processing new hire paperwork, and facilitating onboarding procedures

● Maintaining intellectual property status reports.

● Managing benefits broker relationship(s), coordinating employee benefits enrollment, changes, and communication regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

● Supporting performance review process, including goal setting and feedback delivery

● Maintaining accurate employee file personnel files, training & safety records

● Managing facilities maintenance and overseeing general office operations

● Other duties as assigned

Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

● Minimum two years of experience in Human Resources administration

● Experience with maintaining corporate documents and record-keeping

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

● Proficiency with HR Information Systems

● Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

● Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company goals

● Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration

● Previous experience in intellectual property/legal maintenance (preferred)
