    We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying advanced public cloud infrastructure to solve real-world business challenges , directly contributing to our firm’s innovation and growth . This role is on our IT Infrastructure team with a focus on architecting, engineering, and deploying Microsoft Azure related services. You will work closely with a team of software engineers, solution architects, and data engineers to design, implement, and optimize s olutions that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with Terraform, and Microsoft Azure .

    Your role.

    Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Architect, design, implement, and secure Microsoft Azure solutions to meet business needs.

  • Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform.

  • Develop and utilize CI/CD processes to help deliver quality solutions efficiently, securely, and at scale. 

  • Deploy solutions from idea generation through implementation including needs analysis, cost/benefit, selection, implementation, knowledge transfer, and support.  

  • Conduct research on emerging public cloud technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility. 

  • Review and correlate information, determine root cause, and improve processes to prevent recurring issues.

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and other related infrastructure-related support.

  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows to update, change, and implement solutions.

  • Provide support during outages and critical incidents, per our rotating on-call program

    The qualifications.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, business or related major.

  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 3 of those years deploying and managing resources in Microsoft Azure.

  • Demonstrated work experience with Terraform and deploying Infrastructure as Code.

  • Thorough understanding of Azure resources, including App Services, Front Door, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Network Security Groups (NSG), Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure SQL, and Storage Accounts.

  • A passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning.

  • This position may require travel on rare occasions.

  • Experience with the following will help you stand out, but are not required:

    o Experience deploying Microsoft Azure AI technologies for production use

    o Experience designing and supporting enterprise networks (subnetting, routing, and security).

    o Microsoft Azure or HashiCorp certification.

    o Coding / scripting in PowerShell and/or Python.

    Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

    Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

    Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

    Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

    $8,333.33 to $12,416.67

    We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
