Your Role.
Performing Information Technology (IT) Audits (e.g., system development lifecycle, change management, incident response, etc.) and Security Assessments in various industries including Public Sector, Higher Education, Healthcare and Services Industry.
Compliance Reviews for GLBA, PCI, HIPAA, and other industry specific regulations.
Utilize familiarity with information security frameworks such as NIST, CIW, and ISO in performing IT risk assessments.
Manage responsibilities between multiple long term client projects throughout the full project lifecycle—participating in client discussions, completing testing, documenting findings, and communicating results to stakeholders.
Contribute to professional development initiatives by training new team members and attending relevant conferences to stay ahead in the field.
Engage in internal firm activities, including recruiting and exploring new technologies to enhance client delivery and firm operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
1-3 years of experience in performing and supervising IT Audits, Technology Risk Assessments, or IT internal control evaluations and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to write professionally and concisely, summarizing project insights and challenges effectively to stakeholders.
A flexible schedule to respond timely to client needs, managing both total and billable hours.
Proactive problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience in a professional services or client-facing role.
Proficiency with audit tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by client engagements.
Preferred Experience:
Public sector experience is preferred but not required.
Current certification or a commitment to obtain certifications such as CISA, CISSP, etc. within 2 years.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information
Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.
Colorado monthly base range is as follows:
$6,083.33 to $8,166.66
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
