Job Title: Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a Lathe Machinist to join our team. Our company is a manufacturer of aerospace components, specializing in high precision work. We work with turning, milling, grinding, and lapping to achieve precise roundness and flatness in our products. The primary process in our shop is turning. Our ideal candidate will be able to handle tasks including running parts on CNC lathe, checking parts with inspection tools such as mics, calipers, and gauges, making minor offsets as needed, and ensuring size and tolerances are kept in check. You will also be responsible for some change overs and some light program edits.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Southwick, Massachusetts.

The successful candidate will be comfortable in a culturally driven environment and be able to communicate effectively. We operate on a Monday to Friday schedule with two shifts: 1st shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and 2nd shift runs from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Overtime may be required before or after shifts during the week as needed once permanent, and Saturdays are rare but possible.
