Actalent Project Coordinator in Sparks, Nevada

Job Title: Construction Project CoordinatorJob Description

The Construction Project Coordinator will work with the CSA (Construction Structural Architecture) team to build a manufacturing facility for Semi Trucks. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of RFI (Request for Information) and Construction Submittals. The coordinator focuses on the administrative aspects of projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, facilitating communication between team members, and tracking progress.

Hard Skills

  • Billing & Invoicing: Manage the process of preparing, verifying, and submitting invoices to ensure accurate and timely billing.

  • Budget Monitoring: Track project expenses and ensure they align with the budget, flagging discrepancies for project managers.

  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and any other billing-related documents.

  • Subcontractor Management: Communicate with subcontractors to collect progress reports and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.

  • Schedule Coordination: Assist in the scheduling of construction activities, aligning them with project deadlines.

  • Compliance: Ensure that all billing processes adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines, especially those specific to large-scale industrial construction.

  • Issue Resolution: Act as the point of contact to resolve discrepancies in invoices or billing documents, coordinating between internal finance teams and external vendors.

  • Reporting: Generate financial reports, cost analyses, and project updates to keep the team informed of financial progress and challenges.

  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to billing and budget overruns.

Soft Skills

  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between team members and subcontractors.

  • Time Management: Ensure tasks are completed on time and align with project deadlines.

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and billing records.

  • Problem Solving: Resolve discrepancies in invoices and coordinate issue resolution between teams and vendors.
